Our Story
The story of Ignite HR Solutions is a simple one: with an hour-plus commute (one way) to work, how does a working mom get her kids to a 4pm soccer practice? With a goal of workday flexibility, Kira founded Ignite HR Solutions in 2016 so she could continue to be challenged professionally while having enough time for her family as well. We started small, by hiring HR professionals who wanted the opportunity to continue to hone their skills on a part-time basis.
Today we have full time Consultants too, but we always have the door open to part time work for our team members. Our own company culture encourages employees to enjoy all aspects of their life, not just work! Being a People First company not only benefits our team members individually, but our company as well.
Our goal is to help our clients become an Employer-of-Choice and build incredible company cultures of their own through world-class employment practices.

Meet the Team
Kira Feick
Owner
Kira has been exposed to many facets of business, but has found that her passion is with the people. Working with managers and business owners navigate daily “people challenges” is how she has successfully turned businesses around and created cultures that are one of a kind.
- Kira began her career in HR at Gap, Inc., where she completed their prestigious Management Development Program.
- She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, (SHRM), the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA), and the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI)
- Kira earned her certification in Human Resources Management from the University of California at Berkeley Extension

Kira began her career in HR at Gap, Inc., where she completed their prestigious Management Development Program. Exposed to many facets of business during the program, she gravitated toward the people of the business and the “people challenges” faced by managers on a daily basis, both in stores and at headquarters. Kira moved from the Gap headquarters offices over to the high-tech world, and from there began running a series of HR “departments of one” over several startup companies. Along the way, Kira earned her certification in Human Resources Management from the University of California at Berkeley Extension, as well as earning her PHR (Professional in Human Resources) designation from the HR Certification Institute and her SHRM-CP from the Society for Human Resource Management, and most recently her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) in August of 2018.
As a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, (SHRM), the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA), and the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), Kira stays on top of the ever-changing rules and regulations that govern HR, as well as the current trends in employment, and as an active member of both the San Ramon and Danville Area Chambers of Commerce, she stays on top of local employment issues and trends as well.
From leading HR departments as an employee to consulting for the last several years, Kira has extensive experience in the basics such as compliance (across multiple states), payroll, and benefits, as well as the more difficult employee relations issues including harassment claims, layoffs and RIFs, and employment litigation. With experience in multiple industries (retail, renewable energy, restaurants, high-tech, and non-profits are just a few) Kira can provide flexible guidance that makes sense for your company.
Tina Benner
Human Resources Consultant
Tina is passionate about fostering a positive company culture and believes implementing core values is key to running a successful organization.
- Tina has her Human Resources Management certification from Cal State East Bay and has over 15 years of experience in HR.
- She has created and implemented Learning & Development programs and employee engagement activities to support team member growth.

Tina is a Bay Area native and currently lives in Concord. In her free time, you’ll find her working out, mixing up fun craft cocktails, spending time with friends and family and rooting on her favorite Bay Area sports teams!
Soraya Brittendahl

Dana Kelley

Dana has a master’s degree in Justice Studies from San Jose State University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University. She has comprehensive HR experience from a variety of organizations including Silicon Valley start-ups, non-profits, small businesses and Fortune 500 global corporations. As Director of Human Resources, HR Business Partner, and HR Consultant, Dana has directly supported all levels of the organizations across a variety of functions. Dana is skilled in a full spectrum of HR initiatives, including HR operations, compliance, performance management, workforce planning, employee development and coaching, compensation and benefits, employee relations, teambuilding, engagement, diversity and inclusion. She is well experienced in startup operations, including fundraising, investor relations, due diligence, M&A and integration change management. Dana has a passion for cultivating the progressive cultures, people strategies and HR operations that enable companies to flourish as employers of choice. Dana is a native of the South San Francisco Bay Area, enjoys her young son, family and pets, sings for local cover bands, and enjoys the outdoors.
Michelle Noble

Michelle is an HR Consultant with over 30 years of experience in business operations, including a background in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Nonprofit Development and Human Resources.
- Michelle was instrumental in the formation of Gap, Inc.’s first Employee Resource Group, the African American Network Group (AANG), and served as the Co-Chair and Board Member for five years. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, (SHRM).

In 2013, Michelle chose to follow her dream of serving the community in the nonprofit sector, first as a Development Associate, and Development Manager at Curry Senior Center, and then as a Talent & Evaluation Manager for Youth UpRising, a youth development center. Michelle has supported a variety of functional areas of HR, including recruitment and selection/onboarding, RIF’s, payroll, employee engagement, 401K and HRIS system administration. Today, Michelle strives to share her experience and deliver exceptional customer service, with a personal touch, to her clients.
Michelle is a volunteer Advisor and HR Consultant for the Urban Cowgirl Ranch Foundation, a fiscally sponsored project of Urban Cowgirl Ranch, LLC, her daughter’s equine business. Michelle, also known as “Mom” and “GrandMe” (pronounced Grammy), is the proud mother of two daughters, and two granddaughters, her greatest achievement. Michelle is an avid artistic roller-skater, loves to travel and make organic gourmet granola for family and friends.
Ally Sastry

Ally has led as a Regional Human Resources Manager overseeing multiple sites in California as well as a few sites across the States supporting a variety of roles that include HR & Benefits Administration, Workers Compensation, Labor and Employment Relations, Conflict Resolution, Staff Training/Development, Team Leadership, New Program Implementation, Policies and Procedures, Recruiting and Multi-Site Operations. Ally is very passionate about relationship building and the role employees play in the business’ success. She resides in San Ramon with her husband, 11-year-old boy/girl twins, 10-year-old daughter and 2-year-old Golden Retriever. In her spare time, she enjoys her family, friends, watching her kids play sports, working out, volunteering in her community and traveling!
Martha Woodard

Martha honed her human resources skills while at Industry Capital Advisors as the sole HR contact for its portfolio of companies, working with new and seasoned managers representing a variety of industries in different fields and stages of growth. She strives to approach each situation with empathy and attention to detail believing that human resources’ function to serve all employees: front line, management, and executive.
She obtained her certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and renewed her designation through 2024.
Combined with her previous experience as an implementation consultant for various software companies, Martha is conversant in multiple HR platforms and always ready to learn new ones. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and her master’s degree in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. In addition to belonging to HR.com and SHRM Northern California, she lends her time as a volunteer for SHRM Northern California’s Professional Development Committee. Over the years she has volunteered with the Lafayette Elementary and Stanley Middle School’s PTA Executive Board, Lafayette Juniors, and Boy Scout Troop 243.
A native Spanish speaker and still capable of understanding French, she looks forward to strengthening her language skills with future international travel.
Sara Meehan

Her background initially was in recruiting and staffing, which evolved into business operations, project management and marketing across many industries including real estate and high tech. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Liberal Studies from Cal State Northridge. As a former Division 1 collegiate athlete, she is very familiar with teamwork, dedication, and leadership, and she brings these qualities and more to the workplace.
Erika is a natural communicator, and her organizational skills are second to none; she is a go-to resource to complete all tasks and projects, big or small. Erika strongly believes in giving back to the community and is a member of The National Charity League and the Boys Team Charity, where she and her children volunteer for many organizations throughout the community. She also has been a swim coach for Amador Valley High School since 2012.
Erika and her husband have five children, ranging in age from middle school to having completed college and starting careers of their own. Erika enjoys yoga, swimming, watching her kids in their sports, spending time with friends, traveling, and reading.
